Rabbit Zonker Strips

Zonker strips are cut pieces of rabbit skin with the fur on. These are used on some streamer patterns, like the Rabbit Candy, Zonker, and Bonito Bunny. The fur pulsates in the water, creating a very lifelike effect.

The cross-cut variation is cut across the grain and is meant for wrapping around the shank of the hook. This creates the body on many leech patterns, and on saltwater flies like the bonito bunny.
