These 12 foot long leaders are specifically designed for big game popper/stickbait fishing for tuna species, giant trevally, large roosterfish, and many others. You can reel and cast the connection through the guides with minimal friction. A setup like this allows you to fish a long leader for decreased visibility, and 12 feet of chafe resistance without losing castability. The 12 foot length fishes well with all popping rods in the 7'6" to 9' range. Made with quality Momoi monofilament, and a short looped header at the top end to attach to your main line. Tie a bimini at the end of your main line, and do a "cats paw" loop-to-loop connection to the header on the wind-on, and you're done! This is the strongest braid to mono connection that you could possibly have. We also have these available in a PRO series fluorocarbon leader.
