Nobody beats the quality of our custom rigs, hand tied right here by professional fishermen, with the right configuration to catch your target species. To suit your preference, our standard live bait striper rig features the option for either a 3-Way Swivel, or "fishfinder" slide method for sinker attachment. The 3-way rig has a light monofilament loop to attach your sinker, and the fishfinder sinker slide you would thread your main line through before tying it to the swivel. The leader is 6 feet long on this rig, with the option for an "octopus" J-Hook, or a circle hook. Whether you're drifting the rips of the inlets, or the famed waters of Montauk Point, these rigs will do the job. This rig can also be used for live bait fishing in channels for big redfish.
- Size 5/0 we prefer for clams, marine worms, small fin fish, or "shoestring" eels.
- Size 6/0 is our all around size for live Eels and Spot/Croaker.
- Size 7/0 is a good size for large eels and fin fish.
- Size 8/0 is for targeting very large bass with big baits like full-size adult bunker.
