Monofilament Wind-On Leaders

Our custom offshore rigging is the best in the business. Using a wind-on leader system gives you an extra 25 foot section of heavy monofilament for abrasion resistance for shark and billfish. It also gives you a long IGFA legal leader that you are allowed to handle at boatside and reduces the amount of people needed for landing a fish successfully. Our standard monofilament wind-on leaders are constructed from quality Momoi monofilament, with a looped header at the top end to attach to your main line. Tie a bimini at the end of your main line, and do a "cats paw" loop-to-loop connection to the header on the wind-on, and you're done!
