Our custom offshore rigging is the best in the business. The "top shot" is a section of monofilament that is meant to attach to the end of your braid backing as the mono section of main line. We construct these from Momoi Smoke Blue monofilament, in a variety of lengths, and strengths to suit your needs. They have a looped header at the end made from hollow core braid to make attaching it quick and east. These are great to keep on the boat, in case you need to quickly change out your line to get back in the water when the bite is on. Attaching it is simple, form a loop at the end of your braid by either splicing, or tying a bimini twist, then do a loop-to-loop connection on the pre-formed looped header of the topshot to form a "cats paw" when passed through three times. Reel it on under tension, and you're done!
