Built to Last from Outside Set Products. The Tunacious Dart is a hand sharpened harpoon dart made of pure Marine Grade Bronze. The rigged darts are spliced with 3/16" Spectra Braid that has a breaking strength of 6000lbs. The makers have spent over 20 years fishing for Giant Bluefin Tuna, and have lots of first hand experience. They also interviewed countless fisherman and captains looking to solve their fishing issues. Not only are these great for tunas, but they also work very well for shark, swordfish, and halibut.
- The head is designed with large flat surfaces on the back edge to hold into meat or cartilage.
- The back half of the dart is designed to rotate 90 degrees locking the dart into the meat.
- The back edge of the dart is flat and designed not to cut its way out of the fish like traditional darts.
- 100% Marine Grade Bronze
- The sharp point easily penetrates outer surfaces of fish and will not pull out of the entrance hole.
- Once the dart is inside the fish the harpoon line is pulled which rotates the dart because of the curved shape.
- This rotation locks the dart into the fish.
