Same features of the Original Balloon Slider but bigger and stronger. These work very well with larger guides like Winthrop guides. These Ballon Sliders are a real time saver when fishing with bait and balloons. No more untying balloons and rubber bands to check bait or clean the line. This is generation #2 and now almost twice as strong. Still made of 100% silicone and holds over 25 lbs. *Will not fit through some smaller AFTCO guides typically used on 50s and 80s.
1) Attach the Balloon Slider onto the main fishing line above the swivel and crimps.
2) Tie a rubber band onto the main line above the balloon slider at the desired bait depth. This will stop the slider from sliding up the line any farther than the desired bait depth.
3) Attach a balloon to the slider using a rubber band.
4) When checking bait simply reel up, the balloon and slider will stop at either the weight or swivel.
5) When fighting a fish the rubber bands holding the balloon onto the slider will break, allowing the slider to be wound through the guides and onto the reel.
