Robert's "Ranger" Topwater Lures

If we were stranded on a desert island and had to take one lure with us, this one would certainly be very high on the list. One of the original designs, the Ranger is Robert's most popular lure. The unique surface action of the Ranger is effective for a myriad of species around the globe. We've used these lures with a high degree of success on Roosterfish, Giant Trevally, Tuna, Houndfish, Bluefish, Mahi-Mahi, and all species of Jacks.

Some use the Ranger as a launcher (aka. "Casting Egg") for a fly. Some use the dropper ahead of the lure; others trail it behind the Ranger. These come with an "inshore" worthy single hook stock, but we offer them with both both upgraded inline single and trebel hook varieties for harder pulling pelagics.
