The Rainshadow "RCLB" RX6/E-Glass Saltwater Live Bait blanks are one of the best all-around "composite" rod blanks out there for Northeast inshore fishing. These rods are a blend of graphite and e-glass, which make for a high performance, durable rod with a nice moderate bend to it. We love these blanks for live baiting striped bass, bottom fishing, and sailfish on the east coast depending on the model that you choose. The 70L is a great "inlet" striper live bait/ocean fluke rod, the 70ML is a perfect choice for heavier live baiting in areas like Montauk, or bottom fishing for Blackfish. The 70M is great for the heaviest striped bass live bait situations where the most backbone is needed.
