Maxel Ocean Max Lever Drag Conventional Reels

The Maxel Ocean Max Single Speed Lever Drag Reels are specifically designed for jigging and are as powerful as they are pretty! They are constructed of aluminum with an aluminum frame, sideplate and handle. With the dual drag system, these reels put out anywhere from 33-54 lbs of drag at max! That is an incredible amount of power. The heat treated stainless steel gears inside of these reels are built to handle the kind of stress and torque when using so much drag.

While designed for jigging for big fish, the smaller sizes make great inshore reels for fluke, striped bass, bluefish, cod, grouper and more!

Maxel Ocean Max Jigging Reels come in eight sizes and are available in three colors: Blue/Silver ; Gunsmoke/Silver ; Copper/Black.

The 05 and 06 sizes come standard with aluminum ball knobs, all other sizes come standard with Rubber T bar knobs.
