Centaur has made an in-line change on the "Light Jigging" series rods. They are now called the "Solide Jigging" series. The blanks on the rods are the same, however they feature a larger ergonomic reel seat, and slightly larger EVA grips now. |
These rods from Centaur are a huge bang for your buck when it comes to a Japanese style jigging rod. These rods are excellent for all inshore jigging purposes. In the Northeast, we love to use these rods for fluke, sea bass, tautog, and light tackle striper fishing. The blanks are very light in weight, yet still extremely strong considering how thin they are. Each rod in this series is color coded to it's rated power as noted in the chart below.
