Avet Reels proudly produces aluminum lever drag reels right here in the USA. These reels are known for their usage on the west coast for casting on Long Range style fishing trips. Here in the Northeast, we like to use them for bottom fishing and live bait applications most often. The SXJ is an excellent size for striped bass, blackfish (tautog), fluke (summer flounder), bluefish, black sea bass, and many other different species.
The reels that we carry here DO NOT have the drag lever Glide Plate. We can get reels with that feature for you by special request.
